At the YMCA, one of our most important goals has always been to enrich the lives of kids in our community. But when some are left out, it leaves us all a bit poorer.

That’s because giving kids a safe and nurturing place to go benefits everyone. By introducing them to experiences that will help them grow into responsible, successful adults, we make the community we love a better place to live. One child at a time. One family at a time.

YMCA programs teach young people important values such as caring, honesty, responsibility and respect. Through a variety of fun and rewarding activities, they also develop valuable skills while they gain confidence and self-esteem. You simply can’t put a price on strengthening and enriching the character of a child.

Supporting our YMCA and our Strong Kids Campaign doesn't just support kids; our funding goes towards supporting families in need, benefiting people of all ages throughout our entire community.

In addition your support can be designated toward our facility and operation, where we provide space, equipment and/or trained professionals for a wide variety of community outreach, education and support.

In 2009, we gave out $87,000 to over 800 recipients throughout Dodge County.  The need in our community continues to rise, yet we continue to remain dedicated to our mission - that children and families always have the opportunity to participate in YMCA programs.

Another way to give to your local YMCA without costing you a penny is to participate in our Scrip program.  Not familiar with Scrip?  Please check it out here, and keep in mind that Scrip can be used for everyday purchases - like gas, groceries, household goods, dining out and more.  Make purchasing and using Scrip a part of your regular shopping and help contribute 2%, 3%, up to 18% to the Y!
