Book Drive for Tanzanian Children in East Africa
January 2010

It's after the holidays and your child has received new story books to enjoy.  What do you do with their old books?  Bring them to the YMCA to be donated to Tanzanian children in East Africa.  What a great opportunity to help build a library for children who have not had the luxury to see or even read a book.  As seen in the Daily Citizen, a Beaver Dam High School graduate is coordinating this effort.  If interested in donating, you can drop off the books in the collection bin at the front lobby of the Y, or bring your books to the Child Development Center.

All books, 5th grade reading level and younger, are accepted.
