At the YMCA, we strive to make sure that every child’s day brings about bigger and brighter achievements; but we can’t do it alone! Your contribution to the YMCA Strong Kids Campaign ensures that many nearby children unable to pay are included in programs that will teach them values that will positively impact their lives and the community we all live in.
At the YMCA, one of our most important goals has always been to enrich the lives of kids in our community. As a person with vested interest in the future of your community, you can help these kids grow into responsible, successful adults. YMCA activities help children develop valuable skills, gain confidence, and build self-esteem. By contributing to YMCA Strong Kids, you can help us teach these young people such important values as caring, honesty, responsibility and respect.
The YMCA of Dodge County currently assists over 830 children and family members through monies raised by our Strong Kids Campaign.
- YMCA of Dodge County Strong Kids recipients reside in 17 different communities throughout Dodge County.
- In 2009, through community support and United Way funding, the YMCA of Dodge County raised over $64,000 for the Strong Kids Campaign. During this same time, the YMCA of Dodge County awarded over $84,000 to children and family members so they could participate in YMCA memberships and programming.
- The need for the Strong Kids Campaign is rapidly on the rise. Please help up continue our mission of turning no one away because of inability to pay.
