What is Scrip?

Scrip is fundraising without the hassles of traditional fundraisers - it is fundraising while you shop.

With scrip fundraising, you simply purchase gift cards from America's favorite retailers - many of which are local here in Dodge County, WI.

But don't just think of these gift cards as gifts - although that is part of it.  If each of our members would simply do their regular weekly shopping with scrip gift cards, the YMCA would earn cash rebates that can quickly add up!  All it takes is a little purchase time ahead on your part, and you've just helped your Y earn valuable funding that can keep our financial assistance program, and other programing alive.

All this - and you are not spending an additional penny!

Look at the list of retailers and start thinking - groceries, clothing, toys, gifts, even gasoline can be purchased with scrip.  Some gift cards will be available for immediate purchase at the front desk (like Walmart, Shopko, etc.), while others will need to be ordered and available for pickup in 10 to 14 days.

Shopping at your loved ones favorite retailers in the next weeks?  Consider ordering a scrip gift card for those retailers and using that gift card for your purchase.  You get the gift you want, and help the Y out while doing it - all at no extra cost to you.
