Looking for a way to help your preteen or teen develop a life-long approach to healthy activity and diet?
Know that your youth needs more activity and encouragment in their life? Or maybe you, as a parent, are needing to learn and understand how to help your youth keep active and fit.
The Lofting Program is a family based program addressing the need to focus on life-long healthy habits of activity, weight management and more.
For ages 8 to 16, the 8 week Lofting Program is a personalized well-being and fitness program. The program includes:

An initial family meet and greet with a Personal Trainer who will be your family’s program coordinator. During this appointment, a tour of the Y and a consultative goal setting session will occur.

Personalized program for the youth participant(s). This will include an exercise program and goals.

Enrollment in the program Youth Wellness:The Loft is included during the 8 weeks of your Lofting Program.

FREE Family Night in the Youth Wellness:The Loft program for parents/guardians and siblings 8 and older. (During the 8 weeks of your Lofting Program.)

Two meetings with a dietician to discuss eating habits, create a workable approach to nutrition and diet.

Access to educational workshops (held the 1st Monday of each month).

A progress meeting for the family; review of exercise logs, activity, family goals and healthy home habits.

Optional physician communication.

Exit meeting with the family.

No joiners fee to join the Y within the 8 weeks of the program and up to 30 days after the end of the program.

2 family daypasses included.

A follow-up email with family to encourage and check in on progress.
This program will work to not only meet the goals of the youth and the parent/guardian, but also to build self-confidence, educate the youth in understanding healthy choices, and the tools they need to continue making personal fitness a personal way of life.
Start date for the Lofting Program is mutually agreed upon with your Lofting Program Coordinator.
