Mission

The YMCA of Dodge County is True to Purpose and Values
The YMCA of Dodge County is a charitable association founded on Christian principles, open to all,
and dedicated to building a healthy spirit, mind, and body through diversified programming.

We Build Strong Kids, Strong Families, and Strong Communities
The YMCA offers a broad range of programs, but the heart and soul of its outreach is serving the needs of youth and families. As the history foretells, the YMCA has been an active force in the Beaver Dam area at providing children with meaningful experiences and positive values for over 113 years.

Caring * Honesty * Respect * Responsibility
The YMCA is more than just a place for members. It is a vital force in providing needed programs to serve the health and well-being of community members from many different backgrounds. The YMCA is a leader in character development with the core values of caring, honesty, respect, and responsibility.

No One is Turned Away
The YMCA is open for participation to people of all faiths, races, genders, ages, incomes, and abilities. The annual Strong Kids Campaign assures that children and families always have an opportunity to participate in YMCA programs. Each year the YMCA provides financial assistance to over 800 participants throughout Dodge County.

Health and Wellness for a Lifetime
The YMCA is a leader in providing health and physical fitness programs for adults, teens, and youth. As a YMCA member, adults and youth can participate in a wide variety of healthy fitness activities from self directed workouts, special classes, and personal training programs.

Serving Families Throughout the Years
The YMCA supports parents and grandparents concerned with the physical, emotional, and spiritual health of their children. The YMCA supplies a safe, wholesome environment where parents, grandparents, and children can learn to communicate, cooperate, and care about each other.

All Communities of Dodge County are Served
The new YMCA of Dodge County continues to serve the communities of Dodge County. Today, the YMCA operates before and after school programs at five locations in Beaver Dam. The YMCA operates summer pool and swimming lessons in Fox Lake, Horicon, Columbus, and Waupun. YMCA programs serve over 6,000 individuals throughout the communities of Beaver Dam, Columbus, Fall River, Fox Lake, Horicon, Mayville, Randolph, Reeseville, and Waupun. The YMCA of Dodge County is committed to building on this tradition of service as it grows in the years ahead to provide an ever stronger program mission across the region.
